Campsites in the Area
If you are travelling from afar or want to plan a relaxed visit to the Customer Centre, you will find a range of campsites and overnight options for motorhomes and caravans in the surrounding area. This allows you to prepare comfortably for your appointment and benefit from direct manufacturer expertise on-site without any time pressure.
The Harbury Fields Farm Caravan Park is set in a quiet, rural location near Leamington Spa and is ideal for customers wishing to combine their appointment at the AL-KO VT Customer Centre UK with a comfortable camping stay in Warwickshire. This family-run site offers 58 fully equipped pitches and an extensive infrastructure for caravans and motorhomes.
- Location: Set on a farm near Harbury, about a 15-minute drive from Leamington Spa. Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon are also within easy reach.
- Camping comfort: 58 hardstanding and fully serviced pitches with electricity, fresh water and waste water connection. A separate motorhome service point is also available.
- Sanitary & facilities: Heated shower and toilet facilities, accessible amenities, washing machine and dryer, and dishwashing areas.
- Leisure & relaxation: A dedicated walking trail around the farm invites you to take strolls and is also suitable for guests with dogs.
- Excursions: Warwick Castle is roughly a 15-minute drive away, Stratford-upon-Avon around 25 minutes.
- Ideal for: Customers who value a well-equipped pitch and an excellent base for exploring Warwickshire.
The Lairhillock Touring Park is located between Coventry and Southam and offers tranquil overnight accommodation for adults only. Motorhomes, caravans and tents are welcome, making it a good starting point for a stay during a workshop or service appointment.
- Location: On the edge of the village of Marton between Coventry and Southam, about 500 metres from the A423.
- Camping comfort: Pitches for caravans and motorhomes as well as tent camping options.
- Quiet atmosphere: Lairhillock Touring Park is an adults-only campsite catering exclusively to adult guests.
- With dogs: Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times on site.
- Excursions: With its location and links to the M1, M6, M40 and M69, Coventry, Rugby, Warwick, Leamington Spa, and Stratford-upon-Avon are all easily reached.
- Ideal for: Adult customers who prefer peaceful and rural overnight accommodation.
The Dog Lane Fishery is located in the Warwickshire countryside near Southam and combines camping with several fishing lakes. This site is suitable both for an overnight stay around your appointment at the AL-KO VT Customer Centre, as well as for customers wishing to extend their stay for a few relaxing days in the region.
- Location: At Napton-on-the-Hill near Southam, surrounded by countryside and with views of Napton Hill.
- Camping comfort: The Lakeside area offers 18 grass pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes right by Willow Lake. In addition, the Meadowside area provides a large camping field for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
- Sanitary & facilities: Showers and toilets, including accessible amenities, are available on site.
- Leisure & relaxation: Three fishing lakes, scenic walking trails, and views from the nearby Napton Hill offer a range of options for a relaxing stay. Fishing requires a valid EA licence as well as a separate day ticket.
- Catering: During the camping season the First Bite Cafe offers on-site refreshments.
- Good to know: The facility notes that it is closed in January and February.
- Ideal for: Customers seeking close-to-nature accommodation, wishing to combine their customer centre appointment with camping, walking, or fishing.
Training Centre at AL-KO VT Customer Centre Southam
Our UK customer centre is designed to provide expert support, technical advice and product support to customers, dealers and technicians throughout the United Kingdom.
To further support the industry and promote technical excellence, AL-KO VT offers professional training courses. These programmes, aligned with National Caravan Council (NCC) standards, have been specially developed for service staff at trade partners and mobile technicians.
The training focuses on key areas such as chassis and suspension systems, axle and running-gear components, and hydraulic levelling systems. The aim is to give participants the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely install, maintain and efficiently diagnose and rectify faults in AL-KO VT systems.
