From Requirements to Serial Production – Together

- Define requirements
At the outset, the vehicle concept, area of use and technical framework conditions are defined. Together, we clarify the requirements for chassis, suspension, installation space, bodywork and all relevant interfaces. - Develop and design a solution
Our engineers develop components and complex assemblies ready for series production. This includes variant engineering, installation space analysis, and the design of chassis and suspension components, among others. - Align design with vehicle and bodywork
The technical solution is adapted to the specific vehicle concept. AL-KO VT also supports questions regarding body mounting and integration, as well as customer-specific product variants. - Testing and validation
Components, assemblies and finished products are tested under defined conditions. The range of services includes, among others, pendulum tests, wheel fixing tests, durability tests, performance testing and customised special trials. - Support with homologation
AL-KO VT supports OEM partners with technical issues relating to homologation. Depending on the project, this may include brake calculations and type approval certificates. - Transfer to series production
After design, testing and approval, the solution is transferred to series production. Development, purchasing and manufacturing structures enable a range of project and production volumes.
