    Trust and integrity are key concepts in a modern corporate culture. For any company that wants to remain viable and grow in the market over the long term, trust is essential—whether from its environment, its customers and suppliers, or its own employees, both locally and globally. We have committed ourselves to these values in our Code of Conduct, which sets out how our company principles are implemented and applied in everyday business life.

    Our globally valid Code of Conduct is in place to safeguard our employees, the company, and our customers and partners. Preventive and control measures, including the four-eyes principle and regular audits, support our compliance system, which is based on our core values. Additionally, all employees are required to participate in our mandatory compliance training programme.

    The compliance system is supplemented by a whistleblowing system which enables employees to report any misconduct at any time. It is important to us that our company's principles and rules are observed by all employees at all times. Through this whistleblowing system, our staff can confidentially report ethical misconduct or violations, such as fraud, corruption, unauthorised influence, harassment and discrimination, or environmental damage. All reports are treated in strict confidence unless disclosure to the relevant authorities is legally required. In addition, no disciplinary measures can be taken against employees for making a report.

    Since responsible and lawful behaviour is important to us beyond our company boundaries, we have introduced a Code of Conduct for suppliers as well. Compliance with statutory regulations, transparency, and fair competition are essential components of our daily business. For this reason, we set high standards for ourselves and for our suppliers regarding competition, anti-corruption, data protection, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, the avoidance of conflicts of interest, and the protection of assets and information.

    In a rapidly changing environment, we continuously review our compliance system so that we can adapt our rules and processes promptly to new legal and technical developments where necessary.

    Organisational, Management and Control Model in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 231/2001

    AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics S.r.l. – traditionally committed to the principles of fairness, transparency, and legality – has implemented an Organisational, Management and Control Model in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 231/2001: a tool which is continuously developed and identifies compliance with the law as a guiding principle of business ethics.

    It is of primary importance to our company that everyone working for us, in whatever capacity, carries out their activities in line with the principles and values contained in Model 231, as a fundamental tool to guide, promote, and disseminate correct and honest conduct, and as a guarantee of the proper functioning, reliability, and reputation of AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics S.r.l.

    The company has also appointed a Supervisory Body (known as the SB), whose task is to monitor the functioning and compliance of Model 231 within the company. The Supervisory Board consists of an external expert, Mr Luca Pandini, who acts as Chair, and an internal member, Mrs Beatrice Fraddosio.
