König EXTEND: A different take on the slide-out
A slide-out on a motorhome allows the living area to be electrically extended, creating significantly more interior space when stationary. Unlike classic versions, the König EXTEND moves the exterior shell outward, while the inner shell remains stationary. This doubles the volume of the König EXTEND at a standstill, with the extended part remaining variable. The base area of the trailer can be fully fitted and furnished even when pushed together. When extended, additional usable space becomes available.
More space for living
A caravan often comes with limited space. That's where the König EXTEND comes in, which can be driven as a classic box trailer. However, when stationary, it doubles its volume and offers more space for living. In its extended position, the interior provides a barrier-free area that can be created with just a few simple steps and without the use of electricity or other aids. A practical additional feature is that the folding floor (which serves as an outer wall when retracted) can optionally be used as a terrace or presentation area.
Ready for any situation
The flexibility of use and the options to adapt the König EXTEND to individual requirements make the trailer ready for any situation. In commercial scenarios—such as for the police as a mobile operations centre, for the Red Cross as a first-response vehicle, as a mobile training room for eye laser applications, or as a mobile dentist's practice—the König EXTEND is equally suitable for use as a permanent camper or as overnight accommodation for assembly workers.

Pure comfort: When used as a caravan, the König EXTEND can be assembled and disassembled simply and quickly. The König EXTEND is also available in different weight variations, making it possible to transport even heavy items such as a Smart car or a jetski. The permissible gross weight of the standard version is 3,000 kg. In addition, a twin-axle system provides more static load support. The weight is easier to distribute, especially when the interior is variable, allowing for better balance while driving. On top of that, all components are designed for maximum durability and are winter-proof. Nothing stands in the way of year-round use with consistent quality. With the latest project, XTRAIL from König Trailer, the benchmark for off-road capable trailers has been raised yet again. Based on an AL-KO VT axle, a single-axle trailer can achieve a permissible gross weight of up to 2,100 kg.
